Church Administration: Stewardship and Financial Empowerment for Urban Ministry Professor Shelley D. B. Copeland For many, the subject of money is a difficult one to bring up in the church, especially in settings where the prospective donors may be struggling financially. With this is mind, this course has been designed to help participants understand stewardship from a holistic perspective. This will be accomplished by: exploring the biblical basis for giving; methods to empower people for 90% stewardship (handling their personal finances) in a Global economy; and the psychology of giving. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a better understanding of their own personal relationship with money, have the ability to teach others about stewardship; and have the practical tools needed to develop and implement giving campaigns.
